Blogs, Cards, Challenges Oh My..........

Hey there everyone.  Happy Saturday!  It's a rainy one here in Texas.  I am planning to work on some cards here in a bit hopefully....  But I have a question for all of you crafty peeps, do any of you ever get a little over whelmed with all the challenges, swaps, ect... out here on the web?  I really want to get to where one project can be appropriate for more than just one challenge ect.  So how do all you long time crafter's handle this?   I would love hear from you on this subject.  

And now for a little SURPRISE, I am planning on giving some blog candy away when I hit 25 followers.  So I am hoping you'll pass the word and get your other crafty friends to come visit me and if they are so inclined become a follower. My little Crafting Area

Evening everyone.  I finally got my craft area in shape enough that I felt it was OK to show.  My area for crafting and soaping is in my kitchen.  So here are the pictures.  Please tell me what you and think and I would love to see your space too.  (The pull out counter actually extends a lot further but it would not fit in picture if I had it all the way out.)

Happy Monday

HAPPY MONDAY everyone!   Boy, have I been busy the past 4-5 days.  I did attend the Creating Keepsakes Convention in San Marcos, TX on Friday.  A smaller convention but still a lot to see and buy.  I did a couple Make & Takes.  One was at the Heartfelt Creations booth with Jennifer as the instructor. She was super sweet and it was a lot of fun chatting with her.  We made a card with a dimensional flower and dies on it, will be posting pics later today hopefully.  And I also made a pendant at the Craft Fantastic Booth.  I got lots of goodies and had a fun time browsing, shopping and getting lots of inspiration with my friend, Liz.  And I wanted to thank her for hooking up with me before her classes started Friday afternoon.  All in all if was fun, and I will post  picture of my stash I got soon.  

Now before I forget, I promised to post some pics of my crafty area.........well I am in the middle of re-doing where I want all my stuff to be kept, to hopefully make it more user friendly, will see.  So please be patient with me as I am re-arranging.  Rest assured I will as promised post pictures soon.

Well that's all I have right now.  Have a great start to your week.  Off to put my Soap Booth items back in the attic until the next show in a month.  Will post of pic of my table later too, if it turned out, Hubby said pic was washed  out a bit from it being soooo sunny Yesterday,oh well...............

Busy Day ahead....

Morning all!  Very busy day here.  Soap making, Card making, Pet Sitting.....and it's another beautiful fall kinda day here.  Went for my early walk and the Post office and it was only 64 degrees at 7:30 this morning, loving this weather.  Well guess I better get back to it.  Stop by later today and hopefully I'll have some creative stuff to show you all.

I'm going to a Convention.

Hi everyone, sorry for being a little quiet the past few days.  Pet Sitting and other family stuff has been keeping me a bit busy.  I have to tell you all that this Friday, Sept. 21st, I am going to the Creating Keepsakes Convention, WOOHOO!  To say I'm excited is an understatement.  I have only been to one other about 6 years ago.  I know I will not be sleeping Thursday night,just like a kid the night before Christmas.  I will try to get some pictures if they allow it that is.  This an early birthday present from my hubby for me to have a whole day all to my self, Yippee. 

I made some cards yesterday afternoon for a swap I am in over on Split Coast Stampers.  But you'll have to pop over to my cards page for a peak and all the info.

More Followers

Happy Thursday morning peeps.  Just had to put a shout out to my three new followers!  Thank you so much for showing me your love.  I hope you'll pop by whenever you want to.  Well guess it's time to get house work done.  Already got Grocery shopping done earlier thank goodness because it is looking like rain here today and the humidity, YUK!  Then need to clean up my craft area a bit.  Who wants to see my crafting nook?  Let me know and maybe just maybe I'll show it to ya'll.  Why not show me your craft area too??

Hi everyone, just wanted to pop in and send out a Warm, Happy Welcome to my 2 newest Members, I am following you too.  Thank you so much to all who are following me in my crafty adventures.  It's a lot of fun blogging and sharing my creations with you all.......  I almost forgot to mention I am trying to see if I can make it on a design team, for the first time.  I am a little nervous but won't get discouraged if I don't get picked though, it's my my first attempt at  joining a Design  Team, so who knows it could go either way, right?  Oh it's at "The Crafter's Cafe" a fun place to visit and join if your so inclined.  I will let you all know the outcome in early October.  Keep your fingers crossed for me.......(wink, wink)

Sunday, is Grandparents Day!

Happy weekend everyone.  I just wanted to remind everyone that here in the USA, tomorrow, Sunday, 9th September is Grandparents Day.  So don't forget to call, email or if your close enough stop in and see your wonderful Grandparents!  Here is a pic of my Mom & Step dad, and in my book they are the best ever! All my nieces think they are wonderful Grandparents too!

Lazy Monday here in Hot, Hot hot TX!  Is currently  103 degrees, I like hot weather but it is sooo humid, YUK!  I did find time to make a card for another Challenge.  Head over to my Card page to see what I came up with!

Happy Labor Day 2012

Happy Labor Day Weekend Everyone!!  Here's wishing you all a safe and hopefully fun weekend.  I have to work this weekend Pet Sitting, but I love my job so it's not really work to me.  We do have a little relaxation planned for late tonight.  We are going to hear a friends band at a local pub.  Hopefully I can get a short nap in later today, because I will be falling asleep by the time they come on otherwise......LOL! I am the early to bed, early to rise kinda gal!  Hubby is out helping Friends move now so he will be ready for a snooze when he gets back later this afternoon I'm sure.  Any way, Just wanted to pop by and say Hi.  Be safe and enjoy your weekend!
