Card for my Hubby

Hello and Happy Sunday!  I finally got around to making my hubbies Christmas card.  I hope he likes it!  He is hard to make cards for but I did it and I am actually pretty happy with how it came out.  I used a deer  stamp and die and a pine cone stamp from a card making magazine that I can not remember which one, sorry.  the sprigs and berries stamp is from Stampendous.  I made the shaker part with some gold sequins and heat sealed some clear plastic I had lying around then glued it all together.  I think he will like it and hope you do too.   I may have added a bit to much sequins, oh well...............

Last of the Xmas Cards

Back again with the last of my Xmas Cards for this year!  Finally done and it's a good thing as my Pet biz is about to get busy and I'd have no time to finish..... This batch of cards was done using some Anna Griffin card making supplies, misc. card toppers that I've had for a while and only use when I need quick cards. An then one last Parchment Groovi card and one stamped card.  They make really pretty cards without a lot of effort.  Enjoy!

added a touch of wink of stella to this Parchment card for a liitle shimmer.

Well hopefully I have not missed anyone on my card list.  Although I have really backed off on whom I send to theses days.  Only sent 25 hand made ones this year, in past I've done over 80!  Thanks for popping by and have a fabulous day!

Until next time

Anniversary card and #2 and #3 Christmas Cards

Hi there,  I'm back today with a cute anniversary card for two friends who are celebrating 19 years of wonderful marriage.  I used a digi image I have had around for a while and just thought it was perfect for them...... I colored with Pencils and matted with same color card stock.  Sometimes simple is better.  I really like this card and I hope they will too.  Below are 2 more Christmas Cards.  I used some new Christmas theme Groovi plates.  I used parts of several different one to creat these two cards.  I then backed them with polka dot paper and used brads to hold all in place.  Also added some bling and dots of color with Tombow markers.    Hope you like them because I really am happy with them.   Thanks for popping by and check back soon as I am going to be adding more very very soon.

Until next time

Yellow Roses Birthday and more fall

Hello, I'm back with a very pretty birthday card for a very sweet online friend.  I made this card b/c I know it one she probably would not make, she does wonderful watercolor cards and draws like no bodies business.  She is awesome and I just wanted to make her a card to show her how much she means to me.  So Helen Hannum Happy Birthday Lady!

And well I was still into fall colors of late so I made these two fall cards using the ink smooshing technique.  And it was great fun.

Thanks so much for coming by and if you feel inclined please leave me a message and tell em what you like and don't like about these...........

Until next time,

Fall is coming.....

Well Fall does not last long here in Texas.  If you blink you may miss the colors that pop for just a few days before they are gone!  It's the one thing I really miss about the NE United States.  That's why I love to make fall cards each year.  Today I am sharing some fall leaves cards.  Hope you enjoy them as much as I did making them.  The thanks you was done with a small stencil of leaves and momento ink.  And the other card has DP used and die cut leaf colored with momento ink too.  Made a couple of each to send out to family and friends who I know will love them......

Thanks for popping by and hope it's a beautiful fall day where ever you are.......

Assorted Cards

Hello everyone.  Hope everyone has had a super week.  I have a few cads to share this evening.  The first is a cad for my Niece who moved into her 1st dorm at college.  She is attending Hofstar University.  And we are so proud of her.  She has always loved getting mail and asked if I would send the occasional card.  So here is the 1st of many cards she will be getting while away at college.  I used stamps from Catherine Pooler and then just splattered ink all over the card and the envelope to match.... The second card is just a to say Hi to my Aunt and Uncle.  they love getting cards so for this one I used some kitchen sink layering stamps for basket with flowers.  then added some Art Impressions stamps and a touch of water coloring....The third card was actually painted about a week ago and I just layered it up with some black CS and that was it.  This one is for my Secret Sistah in a card group I am part of....  Then the last card is for one of my Dog walking clients who lost his sister yesterday. It's a very easy embossed image in white then just added water and Marvy ink in no particluar order...............

Well that's all I have for this evening.  I do have a birthday card to get made so that will be my next thing to share and I have been playing around with Christmas cards too.

Thanks for popping in to visit and have a great weekend.

Until next time

Keeping busy while Hurricane Harvey takes over Texas......

Hello all from a very very wet Texas.  Hurricane Harvey is taking it's toll on my big state of Texas.  Luckily we live about 200 miles inland from the coast so we are just seeing a lot of rain and occasional high winds.  I am enjoying the cooler temps though :).  I have been trying to stay busy as it pours outside.  Made another water color scene,  will be made into a card, just can not get enough of these.. I also made a card for a stamping /card making friend, it's a parchment card and I really like how it came out.  And my 1st Christmas card of the year, Yay.  It's another parchment card and I am very happy with this one too, it just needs a sentiment to be finished off.  That's it for this evening.  Rains have settled to just a drizzle for now, thankfully.  To all my other Texans I hope this evening finds safe and out of harms way of this horrible storm.....................

Until next time,

Better late than never........

Well hello all..... It's been a bit since I posted and it's not because I have nothing to share but because work has been good.  So now on to my latest cards.
This birthday card was for a dear sweet man who is the hubby of a dear friend, and as you can tell he loves to bowl, LOL.....

This card was for one of my hub's friend's birthday.  I used my old stamp scape stamps on this one and marvy ink.....

This framed piece was a gift for my Hub's Aunt for her birthday and the card below was her birthday card.... both water colored using Art Impression stamps....

And this pretty parchment  card is for my neighbor and friend, whose dad passed away on Saturday from a long battle with cancer.  I used a Groovi plate from Clarity Stamps and distress markers to color from the back.
Well that it for now.  I do have 2 more Parchment cards in the works but not done yet, hopefully soon.
Thanks for popping in and looking.  Feel free to leave feedback, i read every comment y'all leave me.....  :)
