Hi there, I'm back today with a cute anniversary card for two friends who are celebrating 19 years of wonderful marriage. I used a digi image I have had around for a while and just thought it was perfect for them...... I colored with Pencils and matted with same color card stock. Sometimes simple is better. I really like this card and I hope they will too. Below are 2 more Christmas Cards. I used some new Christmas theme Groovi plates. I used parts of several different one to creat these two cards. I then backed them with polka dot paper and used brads to hold all in place. Also added some bling and dots of color with Tombow markers. Hope you like them because I really am happy with them. Thanks for popping by and check back soon as I am going to be adding more very very soon.
Hi peeps, I have officially just started my Xmas cards.... LOL. Here is the first actual finished one and then the vellum pictured is in the works. Thanks for looking and hope you'll leave me some comment love.
Hello, I'm back with a very pretty birthday card for a very sweet online friend. I made this card b/c I know it one she probably would not make, she does wonderful watercolor cards and draws like no bodies business. She is awesome and I just wanted to make her a card to show her how much she means to me. So Helen Hannum Happy Birthday Lady!
And well I was still into fall colors of late so I made these two fall cards using the ink smooshing technique. And it was great fun.
Thanks so much for coming by and if you feel inclined please leave me a message and tell em what you like and don't like about these...........
Well Fall does not last long here in Texas. If you blink you may miss the colors that pop for just a few days before they are gone! It's the one thing I really miss about the NE United States. That's why I love to make fall cards each year. Today I am sharing some fall leaves cards. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did making them. The thanks you was done with a small stencil of leaves and momento ink. And the other card has DP used and die cut leaf colored with momento ink too. Made a couple of each to send out to family and friends who I know will love them......
Thanks for popping by and hope it's a beautiful fall day where ever you are.......
Hello to all the crafty peeps out there in blog land. I have a card to share that I just finished for my Hubby's birthday this coming week. I used a Groovi plate called Motor Bike and a background plate called Woven..... Colored with Prisma pencils to look like his Bike. I am happy with it, a couple minor mistakes but he will never notice, LOL. Just wanted to share. Happy Sunday all.
Happy Saturday evening! I got a birthday card made for a friends 50th birthday tomorrow. I used water color markers, Art Impression Stamps and peg stamps from Rubber Stamp Tapestry. I am sure my friend will love it I make a cad every year and she love anything handmade. well peeps this is all I have today. Hoping to share some Xmas cards soon.... Have a fabulous Holiday weekend! Until next time Tootles
Hello everyone. Hope everyone has had a super week. I have a few cads to share this evening. The first is a cad for my Niece who moved into her 1st dorm at college. She is attending Hofstar University. And we are so proud of her. She has always loved getting mail and asked if I would send the occasional card. So here is the 1st of many cards she will be getting while away at college. I used stamps from Catherine Pooler and then just splattered ink all over the card and the envelope to match.... The second card is just a to say Hi to my Aunt and Uncle. they love getting cards so for this one I used some kitchen sink layering stamps for basket with flowers. then added some Art Impressions stamps and a touch of water coloring....The third card was actually painted about a week ago and I just layered it up with some black CS and that was it. This one is for my Secret Sistah in a card group I am part of.... Then the last card is for one of my Dog walking clients who lost his sister yesterday. It's a very easy embossed image in white then just added water and Marvy ink in no particluar order...............
Well that's all I have for this evening. I do have a birthday card to get made so that will be my next thing to share and I have been playing around with Christmas cards too.
Thanks for popping in to visit and have a great weekend.
Hello all from a very very wet Texas. Hurricane Harvey is taking it's toll on my big state of Texas. Luckily we live about 200 miles inland from the coast so we are just seeing a lot of rain and occasional high winds. I am enjoying the cooler temps though :). I have been trying to stay busy as it pours outside. Made another water color scene, will be made into a card, just can not get enough of these.. I also made a card for a stamping /card making friend, it's a parchment card and I really like how it
came out. And my 1st Christmas card of the year, Yay. It's another
parchment card and I am very happy with this one too, it just needs a
sentiment to be finished off. That's it for this evening. Rains have
settled to just a drizzle for now, thankfully. To all my other Texans I
hope this evening finds safe and out of harms way of this horrible
Well hello all..... It's been a bit since I posted and it's not because I have nothing to share but because work has been good. So now on to my latest cards.
This birthday card was for a dear sweet man who is the hubby of a dear friend, and as you can tell he loves to bowl, LOL.....
This card was for one of my hub's friend's birthday. I used my old stamp scape stamps on this one and marvy ink.....
This framed piece was a gift for my Hub's Aunt for her birthday and the card below was her birthday card.... both water colored using Art Impression stamps....
And this pretty parchment card is for my neighbor and friend, whose dad passed away on Saturday from a long battle with cancer. I used a Groovi plate from Clarity Stamps and distress markers to color from the back.
Well that it for now. I do have 2 more Parchment cards in the works but not done yet, hopefully soon. Thanks for popping in and looking. Feel free to leave feedback, i read every comment y'all leave me..... :) Until next time Tootles
Good Morning all. Hope everyone is surviving the summer heat and rains. We have been some hot hot weather, over 100 daily and a couple freak storms..but we are good so far! I made a few more water color pics and made them all into cards yesterday. All in all I ma happy with. Still trying to get an handle on how much water to have on the brush but it's coming along. I used mostly Art Impression stamps, my favs, and the cad with the boot I used a stamp from Rubber Stamp Tapestry, love their peg stamps too. Will show those off soon..... here are the cards I ended up with. Hope you like them and thanks so much for popping by.
Hello. I decided to practice some water coloring with my Art Impressions stamps today. Made 3 different scenes.... Tell me what you think, Please...... I plan to make them into Cards. Thinking I need less water on the brush? Any I advice....
Hello there.... How is everyone? It's been really hot here in my neck of the world....but I love warm weather luckily, LOL. I made a fun birthday card for my niece who will 17 next week. She is quiet a good artist, she draws so well, it amazes me. So I made her this card. Used water color markers scribbled on craft mat and sprayed with water then used a paint brush to tap bits of color all over the card then added the jar with brushes and the sentiment, both with foam tape. Oh and I added glossy accents to the jar and a bit of silver paint pen to the metal rim... And then I made a booboo. I dropped the ink pad on the bottom left corner of the card and almost screamed. But I decided to ink up the edges and see if that made it look any better, well not great but Hubby says it looks like it was meant to be there. And being I need this in the mail today it will stay as it is, even if I a think it's not right. No time for a do over this time..... So here is the card, tell me what ya think about the ink booboo... Yay or Nay?
Hi all. I found myself with some time today so you know I had to get some cards made. So for today's cards I made a frame for one of the scenery cards I did a while back. I just wet the paper and added Tombow marker ink with a paint brush and let it do it's own thing. Then cut a circle in the middle with a die and cut to fit the scenery, I love it. Then just added the Happy Birthday sentiment. This going to a male friend who loves being at the lake..... The next card is for an online friend who is just a super lady and I wanted to let her know it.... I used Art Impression stamps, water colored with Tombow markers and cut the scene out with a circle stitched die. Then cut two larger circles and attached them to card . Here's hoping she likes it. I even put her name on the wooden post. I am pretty happy with both cards. Now to clean up the mess and get ready to my Mama out to dinner in a bit......... Thanks for popping by. Until Next Time, Tootles
Hi crafty peeps. I know It's been a few days longer than usual but it is summer and I am a Pet Sitter and life gets crazy busy for me this time of year. But with that said I did find time to make 2 quick cards and here they are. I have no time to write all that went into them but should you want info just email me and I'll be happy to oblige......
Thanks so much for popping by, hope you enjoy my cards. Time for me to run, pets are awaiting!
Hello again crafty ones..... I have been wanting to try my hand at some scenery stuff. I have very few
Stamp Scapes and a few more Art Impression stamps so I was able to make 2
different scenes. Here is what I stamped out. Need a little more
practice but I still like these. Not sure they will be made into cards
or not, but I like what i am doing so far . What do y'all think, Keepers or try again?
Well hello all. Hope everyone is enjoying the summer so far. I made a cute Baby Shower card for friend's Daughter in law. I am going to her shower Saturday morning so I had to make a card! We know it's a girl she's having & I went with the nursery colors for the card. I used Stampin" Up layered Bear stamp in pink, grey and black distress inks. I also stamped a stripey background (Catherine Pooler stamp) in the pink and grey ink then added the scrap paper and popped the bear up with foam tape after fussy cutting it out. Added the pink stamped bow from the bear set also. I think it's cute if I do say do my self. I added the the pink homemade bling as an after thought. So there you have it. What do you think, Cute ? Thanks for popping by and I'll be back soon with more to share. Have a great and hopefully crafty week! Until Next time Tootles
Hey there all you crafty peeps. Thought I'd share a really quick card I made for mine and Hubby's 27th Anniversary later this week. Our colors when we married where grey and burgundy so I used that as my theme.... Used a digital Image I had printed a few years back and an Anna Griffin Pre-printed background card. And that's it. Oh I also added a vellum strip, stamped Happy Anniversary and a few grey bling pieces! All done. I am happy with it and he will like it and that's all that matters, right? Thanks for looking and commenting.
Evening crafty friends. I went out tp grab the mail earlier today to find a plastic bag from the local Post Office telling me they were sorry but my mail had been damaged by their machine.... And of course it was one of my cards I was pretty proud of. So I had to quickly create another birthday card for my friend. Below is the damaged one from the P.O and then the new one I am getting out in tomorrow's mail and you bet it is going in a padded mailer! I used the Art Impression water color stamps again and did some water coloring. I am very happy with the new card to, almost like it as much as the last one. Oh well at least I made a card today right, LOL..... have a wonderful evening all.
