Sorry been absent for a bit but life has a way of keeping us to busy sometimes. I had an accident with my automobile and it’s going to the collision repair shop. Luckily I was not hurt at all, and my mum with me in the vehicle and she is fine also and that is truly what matters the most. The car can be replaced! Any ways I just did 4 very very quick guy cards for friends of my hubby’s and mine too. As you all know I really am not a great guy card creator. I try though. Any ways here they are. I’ll do my best to post more now that things are settling down again, lol. </b></span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XIQcBMd5M_Y/YQmIzjtEgJI/AAAAAAAAGP8/UE_f0gVOUF4YPOh3Jp0wcN3cIsC4on9xgCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/2D1F1C21-6846-416B-8562-FA64256F214A.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1952" data-original-width="2048" height="610" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XIQcBMd5M_Y/YQmIzjtEgJI/AAAAAAAAGP8/UE_f0gVOUF4YPOh3Jp0wcN3cIsC4on9xgCLcBGAsYHQ/w640-h610/2D1F1C21-6846-416B-8562-FA64256F214A.jpeg" width="640" /></a></span></div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /><b>Have a great day and week, and I’ll be back soon.</b></span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><b><br /></b></span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><b>Until next time,</b></span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><b>Tootles</b></span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><b><br /></b></span></p>Chrisboldohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16641358632690073561noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3484863940216892269.post-32510847309483516852021-06-12T20:06:00.001-05:002021-06-12T20:06:57.606-05:00Three Father’s Day Cards<span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Hello! Hope y’all are having a wonderful Saturday. I spent the day with my momma shopping at Hobby Lobby and had lunch too. Bought a few new dies, yay! Anyways here are my Father’s Day cards as promised. I used oxide inks, hero arts stencils, and a stamp set from whom I can not remember, mom had ordered it and neither of us remember where from. I colored it with pencils. Hope y’all are all doing great and staying safe. I made a pretty little card to send off to my bestie and I made it according to the “<a href="http://makethecardschallenge.com/">Make the cards Challenge </a>site for this week. It was a color challenge and the colors are: Navy, Cream and grey. I used a diamond press die and cut it out several times in different color papers and then paper pieced it together for the card. It was fun to do have not paper pieced in a long long time. All in all I like it, what y’all think? I have almost finished my Father’s Day cards and will post them soon. So that is all have at the moment. Enjoy your middle of the week day! </span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Until Next Time</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Tootles</span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GamugQ2i1aY/YMElXRuM4lI/AAAAAAAAGKw/rUc-gocGCC4mhZo9h9ie0Syw2tH2ivtcgCLcBGAsYHQ/s1989/0DDDBA12-7463-46ED-9D13-AC9AA6BD335A.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1495" data-original-width="1989" height="482" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GamugQ2i1aY/YMElXRuM4lI/AAAAAAAAGKw/rUc-gocGCC4mhZo9h9ie0Syw2tH2ivtcgCLcBGAsYHQ/w640-h482/0DDDBA12-7463-46ED-9D13-AC9AA6BD335A.jpeg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span><p></p>Chrisboldohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16641358632690073561noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3484863940216892269.post-9556452712058474442021-05-21T10:24:00.000-05:002021-05-21T10:24:24.776-05:00Quick card for a guy<p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"> Good morning everyone, Happy Friday! Here’s a really quick card for a masculine birthday. One of my DH’s good friends has a birthday next week and he just reminded me this morning he needed a card. So I had to think quick on my feet to get one out to the mail box this morning. I used bits of Anna Griffin embellishments and glue and there you have a quick guy card! And it is now in the post! Hope everyone has a great weekend and I may be back later in the weekend with more to share.....</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Until next time </span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Tootles</span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-EQeSC1YA5xA/YKfPWtepYwI/AAAAAAAAGJs/WEVmEnmvVMUjhYbnvUV9nAF3rwoA5pEzwCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/81236599-2D9F-4D98-A2E1-FEF7CD998A26.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1637" data-original-width="2048" height="512" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-EQeSC1YA5xA/YKfPWtepYwI/AAAAAAAAGJs/WEVmEnmvVMUjhYbnvUV9nAF3rwoA5pEzwCLcBGAsYHQ/w640-h512/81236599-2D9F-4D98-A2E1-FEF7CD998A26.jpeg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span><p></p>Chrisboldohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16641358632690073561noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3484863940216892269.post-23034782213344636342021-05-15T15:02:00.002-05:002021-05-15T19:36:50.177-05:00Going to the beach<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><span style="font-size: medium;"> Hello there...... how’s everyone doing? All good here. I wanted to make a beach themed card. For he challenge over at </span></span><span style="font-family: verdana;"><span style="font-size: medium;"> </span></span></p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><span style="font-size: medium;">www. </span></span><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">makethecardschallenge.com and the theme this week is The beach. So I have a question for y’all.......... Do any of you card makers like and sometimes use card kits to make some quick and pretty cards? I used to not be a big fan of kits. But there have been some really neat kits come out of late. Crafters Companion has been coming out with some really cool kits. I bought one when HSN had their monthly craft show. It’s these really really cute vintage purse cards. I made one for Mom to send to my sister as a thank you for her moms day gift. And I must say it was very quick to put together and it is so so cute. Here it is. I would love to hear what y’all think. </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vsm5Z-Vu7mY/YJtScXkx5AI/AAAAAAAAGH8/Ffleh0uMfl8LYc316bciyWZxPYw4UIWOQCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/656685F8-E109-4FA4-960E-2D3642269EDF.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: large;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vsm5Z-Vu7mY/YJtScXkx5AI/AAAAAAAAGH8/Ffleh0uMfl8LYc316bciyWZxPYw4UIWOQCLcBGAsYHQ/w480-h640/656685F8-E109-4FA4-960E-2D3642269EDF.jpeg" width="480" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: large;"><br /></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-HmOhkW-ZaJA/YJtUXlUvUlI/AAAAAAAAGIM/oxxPTgXj9gkGQm7gqLHOerHRrla33FUjQCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0E364E81-835A-4417-994B-80D3DB71DAF2.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: large;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-HmOhkW-ZaJA/YJtUXlUvUlI/AAAAAAAAGIM/oxxPTgXj9gkGQm7gqLHOerHRrla33FUjQCLcBGAsYHQ/w480-h640/0E364E81-835A-4417-994B-80D3DB71DAF2.jpeg" width="480" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: large;">So that’s it for today. She loves doing tattoo’s and my hubby found these cool skin safe tattoo makers made by BIC markers. So of course we had to get them and send them off to her. Which meant I had to add a card also, lol! You know any excuse to make a card! Anyways here is the card it is a bit smaller than my usual cards but I think it’s cute. I used one of mums butterfly edgable dies, and a bunch of crafters companion butterfly stamps.... and here it is........... </span></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Yllfr_UKH4w/YIdfJ7AdE5I/AAAAAAAAGFY/j73uKEjX2r8sDajC9hlVWX3NM7sgw1fiACLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/B12E1D9D-66E5-4995-A04E-6E652B013CAD.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1670" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Yllfr_UKH4w/YIdfJ7AdE5I/AAAAAAAAGFY/j73uKEjX2r8sDajC9hlVWX3NM7sgw1fiACLcBGAsYHQ/w522-h640/B12E1D9D-66E5-4995-A04E-6E652B013CAD.jpeg" width="522" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /><span style="text-align: left;"><br /></span></span></div><p></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">And there you have it... thanks so much for popping by and have a splendid day. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Until next time </span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Tootles</span></p><p><br /></p>Chrisboldohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16641358632690073561noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3484863940216892269.post-56044606167738046372021-04-26T15:46:00.004-05:002021-04-26T15:46:56.814-05:00A few birthday cards<p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"> Hi everyone! Maybe you figured out by now, but green is my favorite color lol! Anyways, I went thru a bunch of albums of dies that my mom had and found this die for a funky folded card and thought hmmmm this could work. So I used it. It’s a crafters companion old die and it is a little bit of work to get it all die cut and all the lil bits popped out... but I am kinda liking it actually. I used couple shades of green scrap card and printed the sentiment on my printer. All in all I like it. I am sharing a card I made to enter in color challenge over at <a href="http://makethecardschallenge.com">Make the Cards Challenge Blog</a>. This one was a little tough on me as the colors just weren’t working for me, but I did finally come up with something passable. I used scraps of mirror paper, crafters companion tiny sunflower and leaf stamps and the long die scrolls looking die is from spellbinder as is the happy Easter tag. I snipped off one end of the tag to make it look like an egg on a stand.... well there you have. And here’s the card. Oh the colors were a pinkish reddish color, bluish color and a kind of mustard yellow, at least that’s what I saw on my computer screen. I hope I got it right, lol........ enjoy your day and thanks for popping by again. </span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Gw3j96uWiiM/YDf7Gp56lfI/AAAAAAAAF_U/7IQjK8P2a_EkgdWEOdm52iiEarmi3yhngCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/3F62EAC1-41A0-4571-ACEC-B200B52C2F94.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1840" data-original-width="2048" height="576" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Gw3j96uWiiM/YDf7Gp56lfI/AAAAAAAAF_U/7IQjK8P2a_EkgdWEOdm52iiEarmi3yhngCLcBGAsYHQ/w640-h576/3F62EAC1-41A0-4571-ACEC-B200B52C2F94.jpeg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Until next time,</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Tootles</span></p><p><br /></p>Chrisboldohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16641358632690073561noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3484863940216892269.post-80555732119061341782021-02-16T21:31:00.000-06:002021-02-16T21:31:47.295-06:00Shades Of Green<p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"> Ok so to all of you up north, you can keep all this cold crappy, snowy, icy, wintery stuff! It’s freezing cold literally. We have been very lucky that we still have power! Please keep us all here in Texas in your thoughts and prayers. We have fire wood and food so I am sure it will be fine! And it’s not gonna last forever only a few days. Anyway enough of this weather stuff! </span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Today mom and I made cards. She made some Easter cards and I made a card for a March swap I am in. The theme is Shades of green. I am pretty darn happy with what I came up with. I used an outline sticker, with double sided tape and micro fine glitter. Colored it in with spectrum markers. Attached image to a spellbinder die. Glued two different papers to my base card and then added a strip of a different color of green. Added foam tape to back of die cut and centered on top. Added some black bling and cut out some small shamrocks from patterned paper. And added with glue dots. At the last minute I decided to add some green shimmery dots to the top and bottom of die cut. I hope y’all like this one as much as I do. </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7fxBVFBOwfE/YCyMeRzZKZI/AAAAAAAAF-I/c3uv-CNWiIgyO6HV5FbNKBZUIZrJ0o4QACLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/D07CD08A-B0AE-4879-9FE3-433B624FC9E7.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1709" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7fxBVFBOwfE/YCyMeRzZKZI/AAAAAAAAF-I/c3uv-CNWiIgyO6HV5FbNKBZUIZrJ0o4QACLcBGAsYHQ/w534-h640/D07CD08A-B0AE-4879-9FE3-433B624FC9E7.jpeg" width="534" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">So that is all I have for now. Going to turn everything off for the night to try to conserve electric. I will hopefully be back on tomorrow! Love to all and stay safe. And a big thanks for popping by again! </span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Until next time,</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Tootles</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></p>Chrisboldohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16641358632690073561noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3484863940216892269.post-77483093861805966862021-02-15T08:00:00.070-06:002021-02-15T08:00:05.565-06:00Feature Creator<p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"> Hi everyone! Happy Monday......so I have some fun news. I made a card for a challenge last week over at </span><a href="https://makethecardschallenge.com/make-the-cards-challenge-3/" style="font-family: verdana;" target="_blank">Make the cards challenge </a>. <span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: large;"> They are a new challenge blog and this was there second challenge. I had to create a card using grey and several shades of purple. Which I did and guess what I actually was chosen to be a feature card creator and show of one of my cards with their design team this week. How cool is that! The challenge this week is to create a card using circles. I used spellbinder circle dies to make an easel card base. Then added a small stamped flower around the card front for a border then added a Anna Griffin doily dies with another spellbinder die for the flowers and vine. So without any further chit chat here is my feature creator card. Also it would be great to see some of your creations so pop over to the blog and join in the fun....</span><a href="https://makethecardschallenge.com/make-the-cards-challenge-3/"><span style="font-size: medium;">https://makethecardschallenge.com/make-the-cards-challenge-3/</span></a></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: large;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-han241i99Ss/YCdtZ2my95I/AAAAAAAAF9E/B9q4jY1gih4Msd6NRFYwICBCeYSCbngbgCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/EA3579F4-00BC-4AB3-B15C-8B155A34ECF5.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1483" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-han241i99Ss/YCdtZ2my95I/AAAAAAAAF9E/B9q4jY1gih4Msd6NRFYwICBCeYSCbngbgCLcBGAsYHQ/w464-h640/EA3579F4-00BC-4AB3-B15C-8B155A34ECF5.jpeg" width="464" /></a></div>Well that’s it for today.
