Good Afternoon and Happy Saturday! I want to send a warm welcome to all my new followers and of course to all of you who drop by and follow me here. I read and love all your wonderful comments. Thank You!
OK, Now for 2 birthday cards I made earlier this week. The 1st one up is one for my nieces 15th birthday. She loves turtles and her fave color is yellow, so this is what I came up with:
And here's the inside too:
Made this cad with the turtl digi I had in my files but unfortunately i failed to name who I got it from, sorry. Colored it with Copics and fussy cut it out. Added tiny white bow to top of presents, form Wal-mart. Flowers are from Recollections. Used cuttle bug embossing folder, b/c I thought it kind of looked like the turtle's shell. The green enamel dots are recollections also. The die cut is from Spellbinders that I had for ages. I used the cut out from the die cut to make a yellow space to match the front and stamped sentiment from Anna Griffin in blue. Also stamped yellow tiny flower in corner also from Anna Griffin. And that's it.....
I also made a birthday card for a dear friend, who loves to get handmade cards, Maria E. She loves Stargazer Lilies, Shoes and the color purple, we both like all of theses actually! So I made this card for her this year:
OK, here I used another Spellbinder Die and the shoe die is from Top Dog Dies. The flowers are from a Google search for lilies coloring pages. It was a quixcke card but I really like the end product. Hope you all do too.
Until next time,

Morning everyone. I had to make a card for my card groups weekly challenge this week and the idea was to make a shaped card of a thing, not just a square or circle. It actually had to be something. So I have been wanting to try my hand at a pocket card. And so I decided on a flower pot pocket card. I am very happy with the out come. There are so many tutorials out there for this type of card. I watched several and then just made this one from memory. I did not add a sentiment yet, because I am not sure who the receiver will be. Here is a link to one tutorial that was the easiest for me to follow: Steph's Paper Crafting.

Steph made it very easy to make this card. If you get the chance follow the link above to the tutorial and see for your selves. And tell her I sent you, Please. Well that's all for today. Thanks so very much for coming by and do leave me some love.....
