Morning everyone. I had to make a card for my card groups weekly challenge this week and the idea was to make a shaped card of a thing, not just a square or circle. It actually had to be something. So I have been wanting to try my hand at a pocket card. And so I decided on a flower pot pocket card. I am very happy with the out come. There are so many tutorials out there for this type of card. I watched several and then just made this one from memory. I did not add a sentiment yet, because I am not sure who the receiver will be. Here is a link to one tutorial that was the easiest for me to follow: Steph's Paper Crafting.
Sentiment part out of pot pocket
Steph made it very easy to make this card. If you get the chance follow the link above to the tutorial and see for your selves. And tell her I sent you, Please. Well that's all for today. Thanks so very much for coming by and do leave me some love.....

ReplyDeleteHaving to do a project always gets me flustered because I just 'do cards'. This card project is very pretty, and I'll try to check out that tutorial. It certainly worked great for you, because this is a really pretty flowerpot card. Love the pink and the spring blooms popping out of the top. Good job, hard to believe it is your first effort. You surely did it well. TFS & Hugs

ReplyDeleteI like that this is a pocket card so you have a little room to write a greeting or something. Seeing this lovely card reminds me I made something similar with chickies in a pot last month. I need to dig it out!
