I'm still going with Christmas Cards

Morning and Happy Friday all!  I made several more cards yesterday with a bunch of stash I have.  Mostly digital pieces from card making magazines that I had lying around, so they where quick to make....... Lol.

So my Xmas cards are starting to get done finally.  It's putting me in the mood to decorate though and DH says NO WAY< it's to early....LOL    Well have a fab Friday!

Christmas cards, again

A marvelous Monday to all my crafty friends.....  It is a very warm day here, supposed to be 98 and sunny definitely does not feel like fall yet!  I have been trying very hard to work on my Christmas cards for this year.  I have made a decision though, I am only sending handmade cards to those who I know appreciate them and know what I put into them and then I am making about 60 to take to the Nursing home where my MIL was at.  They can definitely use them for the residents.  My mom also is making a bunch of lap blankets to give out there too with all the scrap yarn she has left over form other projects.  So now for the cards I have made all since Friday.  

 So have you noticed a them here?  I am a big snowman person.  So I am using all the snowman stah I have not used over the years.  I am having a such fun too, LOL.  Love to hear what you think of all these Christmas cards too.  I guess I need a few cards to that I forgot about hmm maybe work on these today, who knows, will decide once I am sitting at the craft counter and see what mood I am in........

Finally a few Christmas Cards

Happy Sunday all.  I made a few Christmas cards finally!  I used some of the backgrounds I made with the Brusho Powders, and I am happy with them.  Please let me know what you think of them.

Playing with my new Brusho Powders

Hello peeps.  I got a set of 24 Brusho Powders for my B-day from Hubby last week and just look at theses cool backgrounds..... I'm still learning how to use them but it is soooo fun!  DID a bit of white resist too. 

These are seriously such fun.  I will be making some cool cards with these I hope.... Thanks for popping by and looking and have a great weekend.

Couple Gift Tags

Hi just popping in real quick while dinner is cooking.  A friend asked me to make 2 Thank You gift tags for some baskets she put together.  She wanted very colorful and funky, so How did I do?    I really like them a lot!   Made them before my old computer crashed.  So sharing now....

Look What my Mom made for me

Hello all.  I just have the best Mom in the world.   She made me an awesome knit blanket for my birthday.  I am absolutely loving it and wish it where cold enough to use it, but it will be soon enough I'm sure.  This took her105 hours to make.  It's 75 inches x 55 inches.  She amazes me with her knitting skills.  And here is this beautiful knit blanket!  Happy Birthday to me, LOL!  It's actually Teal and Burgundy, but it looks blue here for some reason......

I'm still here

Hello crafty peeps.  Just wanted to get back here and let you all know I am still here.  My laptop decided to die afew weeks back and I finally got DH to order and set up my new desk to and he also bought me an I-pad Air 2.  I am in love with all this new stuff.  Still learning my way around it all but I learn quick so it's all good.  Oh and he also heard me talking about the Brusho powder water colors and he got a set of 24 assorted colors.  I have yet to play with them but I will for sure.   I wanted to share a few cards I rec'd from card making friends for my birthday.  They are all beautiful and made me feel so very special, Thanks friends!  Now for the cards.

I've been making Card Sets

Hello Crafty Peeps!  Hope everyone is doing great today.  I have decided that I am going to give some of my very close friends for Christmas a set of handmade cards.  Probably 6-8 assorted theme cards.  You know,  Birthday, Sympathy, Thinking of You, Thank You ect...   I also have been wanting to make some envelope boxes for cards also, So of course I did.  And they are so easy to make it's crazy.  I used the envelope make from We R Memory Keepers to make my envelope boxes.  I saw a video by Jennifer McGuire on how to do these,  just search You Tube for envelope boxes and it will come up.  And now here are the cards and 2 envelope boxes I made.  Going to add ribbon to keep them closed.  

So that is all I have for now.  I am in a Christmas card swap so I need to get busy on those and will share once done.... have a great Tuesday all.
