Mail Call

Happy Sunday everyone.  I have a busy day running my Mom and I around tomorrow so I wanted to pop in and share some Happy Mail I received yesterday in the mail from my friend Deloris.  She and I are both trying to learn Parchment Craft to add to our cards.  Well she is coming along great with it and sent me this beautiful card, which I will treasure forever, here it is....

 

It is even prettier in person.  I just love it, made my day....Thanks Deloris, your a wonderful friend.

Card for Gal friend's Birthday

Afternoon to all my crafty peeps out there.  It's a very dreary day here today and not doing much at the moment.  I promised I would share the cute shoe card I made for a good friend's birthday yesterday.  Here it is:

I also made her some handmade soaps, that she had been hinting she would like.  She loved the card and the shoe pattern even matched the dress she worn, and No I did not know in advance what she was wearing...... Hope your all have a fun crafty day.

Just popping in

Hello, just posting the card I made with the Parchment piece posted earlier in week.  The card made it to my lovely, sweet best crafty friend, Deloris, in Florida.  And she gave her approval for me to share it with you all, so here it is:

Learning something new

Happy 2015 to one and all.  Have been away from blog land due to life taking over, but I am back and want to share a new craft, well I should say a new craft to me!  I have been teaching my self all about Parchment Craft.  It's a beautiful craft and can be used in card making which is awesome to me...... I am just a beginner so please be advised this is my first attempt at this and I have put the sample together as a card, but can not show the card until it reaches to intended recipient, sorry.  but here is the sample before the card was put together. Let me know what you think.  I am happy with it,  I can hopefully only get better at this new craft.....

Will post my card later this week.  Hope everyone is having a great start to the new year.  What new crafty things are you doing, do tell me, I 'd love to know.

Catching up with cards

Howdy all you crafty peeps.  I'm still here just been a bit busy with this thing called WORK and family stuff!  But I have some cards that have been waiting to be shown to you.  So lets get started.....

This was a card for last weeks card group challenge that I belong to, used it as a  to a Thank You for a sweet friend. 

Sympathy card I made for another friend to give to a family member.  She chose the truck image.

Another Thank you for a different friend for a birthday gift she gave me.

Card group challenge

Hello everyone.  I am just popping in to share a card I made for this weeks challenge in my card group.  The theme was fall and you had to post it to your blog if you have one.  So here is my card!

I also used this card as a Thanks to the lady baker that made my awesome 50th birthday cake last week.  Check back tomorrow for more cards that have been waiting to be shown...

Sunflowers

Happy Thursday Morning all.  As promised here is another card I made, and yes with more Heartfelt  Creations papers and bling.  This card was for my card groups weekly Challenge this week, it was "Sunflowers"  so this is what I came up with.  I must admit I do like it, if I say so my self...... Added a closer look at the fussy cut flowers that I rounded a bit with my stylus and added some tiny, tiny beads and glitter to the centers, it just needed something more.  Any way there you have it.  Thanks for popping by and visiting.  I'll be back tomorrow with some more cards to share.

Has it really been a month!

Well Hello to all my crafty friends and followers.  I am stunned that it has been a month since my last post.  Shame on me!  Just a bit busy here though, sorry.  But I do have cards to share.  I was asked by a close friend to make her a card for the passing of her uncle, who raised her, to give her Aunt.  She even gave me the image she wanted used on the sympathy card.  This truck holds lots of sweet happy memories for her of  her and her uncle riding, laughing, giggling and just having fun in / with the truck!  I hope she will like it! 

The flowers and dies cut background are all from Heartfelt Creations.  My favorite place to shop these days!  That's all for now check back in the morning for more of what I've been up to the past month.
