Quick scrap paper card

Hello all my crafty peeps!   Hope you are safe and warm where ever you may be.  It's cold here, at least for us Texans it is! I made a card from a bunch of scrap paper I had lying around my craft area.  Got this great idea from a friend who's also a crafty card maker, Lorraine.  Going to be for one of my friends' birthday this weekend. She loves blues and greens, so I thought this fit the bill.  Now for the card:

OK I'm going back to my comfy chair, blanket and a nice fire in the fireplace!  Stay warm where ever you are.

Birthday Card in a box

Here is a wonderful 80th birthday card and box I made and decorated for a friends MIL.  Used Spellbinder dies and recollection flowers.  And Text was done with Sizzix die.  Also added some Want to Scrap bling.  My Friend and her hubby loved it.

Birthday for friend

It's Friday and it's a beautiful day here..... Had to make a card for sweet friend Debra who has a birthday today.  Meeting up with her and a bunch of friends to celebrate tonight.  I had a hard time fighting with my mojo the past couple days but here is what I finally made for her.

She loves teal, so I am hoping she will like it.  That's it for today, I have a few more cards in the works will share when I finalize them.  Hope everyone has a fun and safe weekend.

Card for Hubby

Happy Hump day all!  Here's a quick card I made for my hubby for Valentines day yesterday.  It took all of 25 minutes, love quick cards, LOL.

A few Valentines

Evening all.  Popping in this evening with a few Valentines I made.  I still need a couple more but at least I got them started. And here they are.  Still attempting to dabble in the parchment.  Oh and I want to welcome a new follower and friend,Shirley.  Hoping you will find some inspiration from my cards.

We had a beautiful day here in Texas, it was 82 degrees.  Went on a wonderful motorcycle ride with my husband and friends. Just a perfect Sunday all around.  Wishing everyone a wonderful week.  My week is going to be a bit busy but I will be sure to check in here.

Couldn't sleep so made these

Happy Hump Day everyone..... So Monday night I had one of those nights where I just could not fall asleep, so up I got and played in some parchment patterns I had already traced and here is what I made:

I am really enjoying this new craft.  It does take a lot of practice though.  I will definitely be using these for cards, they are not by far great but I am very happy with how they turned out.  Well I am off to see what I can get into at the craft counter.
