DT Post Challenge # 55 - Anything Goes

Hello and welcome back to another CWLC Challenge.  This week it's ANYTHING GOES!  So that can't be to hard for you to come on over and join in the fun, right??  Our sponsor this time around is Digi Darla,  they one of my favorite companies too.  I picked this relaxing digi called "Beach and a book".  I made a card base from the spellbinders die (grand ovals)  and also used it for cutting out the image on.  Colored the image with Copics, ran it through my Grand Cali bur and before taking the die off image I sponged on some Desert Sand ink from Momento.  Attached image with glue runner and added 3-d dimensionals to top and bottom.  And of course you all know I have to have some Bling somewhere on my cards..........So here is the finished card.

DT Post - CWLC Blog Challenge #54 - Something Sweet

Howdy and Happy Monday everyone.  Thanks for stopping by today to see my newest DT Post for CWLC Blog.  This week's theme is "Something Sweet" and our sponsor this week is Limited Runs.  The image I used from them is called Cinnamon Swirl. I decided to print the digi on the larger side and make it the actual card. Colored the straw and cup with Copics then added some blue and red Stickles to the topping.  Then I made a small tan bow from ribbon and added to cup with glue dot.  The inside says "Have a sweet birthday".
This one has been mailed off to a sweet male friend in a card group I'm in, who  makes awesome cards, for his Birthday.  I think he will like it, at least I hope so.  Now here's the card:

I hope you decided to join us this week for this fun, fun challenge and for a chance at a great prize.  Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.  Now pop over to the CWLC Blog for some more sweet inspiration from my other team mates.

Until Next Time
Have a Sweet Day.......

DT Post Challenge #53 - Back to School

Hi there all you crafty peeps in blog land!  It's me, Chris, back again with another DT challenge card for CWLC Blog.  Challenge #53 is "Back to School" and our sponsor this week is Cedar Chest Designs.  This cute little girl image I used is named "Shy Alice".  Don't forget to pop on over to the Created With Love Challenge Blog to see all the fun things my design team mates have come up with to inspire you to play along.

This was a fairly easy card to make, just colored the digi image with copics.  Glued some scrap polka dot paper to bottom of Kraft card base and then added some school type dimensional stickers from Recollections and the digi too.  And as you all know I have a very hard time not using bling, sooo had to add some lite pink pearl swirls. I also added some faux stitching around card edges with red copic marker.  And there you have it a back to school card.  This one will be going to a dear friend, Laura, who is a elementary school teacher along with a baggy full of box tops for the school to send in........Hope you feel inspired enough to join in the challenge this week.

Thanks for stopping by today and viewing my cards.

Until next time,
