Happy 4th of July

HAPPY 4TH TO ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
I thought I would share some of my plants that I have been working on growing.  First you have to understand I do not have a green thumb at all.  And we have sun on our back Patio for most of the day.  So I found 2 flowering plants that love hot weather and direct sun light.  I have had them 3 weeks now and wow are they doing well.  I love sitting there and seeing them.  I am trying to grow some herbs to but not having a lot of luck there.  Planted Basil, Rosemary, Oregano and Parsley.  So far only the Parsley has begun to grow and the oregano is just popping up.  Oh well, there's always next season....... Here's some pics to enjoy. Hope everyone has a safe & fun 4th weekend........................................

Until Next Time,

  1. Hey Chris, Happy 4th to you as well. Your plants look divine, and since I have no green thumb either, and all our place is in direct sun, we have the same problem you do. I've had good luck with the herbs in tubs on the deck, and one year we managed 2 tomato plants that yielded pretty well. Looks like you made some good choices. Hope your MIL is adjusting well in her new home, and I expect you are getting a bit of relief from the constant care. Take care. Be safe. Enjoy your pretty scenery with the lovely plants. TFS & Hugs

  4. Such pretty plants. I was just thinking that I really need to get out in the garden and putter around. My garden is just potted plants on the patio, but it suits me.
