Something different today

Hi all, thought I'd share something other than cards today...... I also do needle tatting, kind of a lost art in my area.  I love doing this though. Planning on making gifts for xmas this year.  These are just some of what I've been practicing on lately. going to change the cord out on the last one not liking the look, lol.  Hope everyone is enjoying summer time, we have been having some great weather, warm and I love it.  Thanks for popping by.

Cards cards and cards

Hello and happy almost Friday everyone..... I am trying to boost up my card stash.  So I am making a variety of cards to have when the need arises.  Made a few sympathy, birthday , Thank You, and a couple Fathers day.  Oh and one wedding card for friends that are Renaissance faire fans.  Here they all are..................................

Anniversary card and a few others

Hello, i have an anniversary coming up this Sunday with hubby, 29 yrs!  So I made this card for him.  I love it. hoping he does too, lol...... I also made a few birthday cards and one other generic card.  I am so happy with all the Tim Holtz dies and stamp set i got.  They are making some very nice cards!   Well here's my latest works.

Something different but still cards!

Hi all!  I made a few cards with some bits of embroidery pieces my mum had made and discarded.... I saw them and asked if I could have them, she said sure.  So off I went with them to see what I could do.  Well much to my surprise I made 3 fun cards.  And here they are.......

Birthday gift set fro friend

Hello all.  Hope everyone is having a great start to the new year!  So far so good here, no complaints.   I have a friend who requested a set of handmade cards that she could give for any occasions as her birthday gift.  So this is what I came up with.

I used Lavinia stamps, Altenew stamps and Art Impression stamps.  All my favorite stamps too.  Stamped them all and then put them in a clear 6x6 plastic box, that I have idea where I got it but I still have 4 left to use.  Added a strip of patterned paper for a belly band and then a birthday tag on top of that.  There are 5 cards and envelopes, all the cards are blank inside.  I think she will really like it. What do you all think, I'd love to know your thoughts........

Happy Crafty 2019!

Hello everyone out there in crafty blog land.   What's everyone up to this year?  We moved my mum in with us in November and are still adjusting, LOL.  I am sure it will all be fine.  I now have all of her craft stash in with mine and we moved the craft room into our dining room as my small kitchen area I used for my craft area was no longer workable with all of her goodies.  So far it is working fine for us.  Mum makes cards too but does the Anna Griffin and Crafters Companion type cards.  So now I have a bunch of new things that I can use now.  

Winter weather has been kind to us so far this year, lots of sun and not very cold.  Today is 75 and sunny, can't complain about that.  

So I have a friend that has asked me to make her a box of cards for her birthday in a few weeks, she wants a mixture  so I am doing six cards and found this cute clear box that I plan to put them in with a pretty bow.  Plus a fabulous birthday card too, of course.  I have 3 done and need to make 3 more yet. I will share the set once I am finished.  

Well just wanted to pop in and hay Hi to everyone and see what's new in your craft room this year.  New to me are 2 of Mom's die cut machines ( Gemini and Sizzix) and lots and lots of dies and embossing folders that she has and barely uses.  So my goal this year is to try to use all the new goodies and the old too, lol.  We'll see how it works out.......
