Birthday Card for a friend

Morning all.  Made a quick card yesterday for sweet dear friend's birthday, she loved it.... I used a pocket template from another dear friend, Deloris, in my card group and printed it on Denim look paper added some faux stitching and glued to card base, cut small denim square and stamped Happy Birthday with some more stitching and glued in place.  Then glued the flowers and feathers as if popping out of the pocket.  And of course some bling on the pocket and card corners.  Touched up the card edges with blue Marvy ink pad. There you have it......

Afraid that's all I have for today. off to do a bit of house stuff I have neglected, YUK house work, but someone has to do it right!  Thanks for popping by have a great day.

Until next time,
Tootles

  2. Denim & white...a very cool combo. Love your pretty faux stitching. I can't do that well for nothing. Yours is so even & looks like sewing. Liked the little 'rhinestone' things-not sure what you call 'em on a pair of jeans, but they made your paper pocket look even more realistic. Great idea to have the flowers popping out of the pocket too. Lovely card, & I'm sure your friend loved it as well. TFS
