OK, now here's my card for the Hop!  The image is from Ginger Loft and it's appropriately called Musical Clown.  Printed and colored digi with colored pencils.  Embossed the back ground on plain red paper with a Cuttle bug folder. Edged the white card base with red Marvy ink pad.  Glued musical background and digi image down with glue stick.  Then I added the music note sticker and black bling, all from recollections.

Made me think of someone singing Happy Anniversary...........

Lace and Ribbon Challenge 42

Morning Peeps!  It's that time again, another challenge over at Created with Love Challenges.  This week the theme is Lace and Ribbon.  I had a blast making this card, is it not just "sew" cute....lol could not help my self sorry!  But it really is cute.  Not sure who this will be going to but it was fun to make.  I am sure I'll find the perfect person to send it off to.  Hope you take a moment to stop by CWLC site and decide to join in the fun, you might just win a great prize, who knows!

Valentine for my Valentine

Hello all my blogging crafty friends.  It's a rainy cool day here today so I figured I would get a card made.  I needed a card for my sweetheart for Valentine's Day. 

The card is for my sweet dear hubby.  I found this really pretty die cut at either Micheal's or hobby lobby quiet a while ago for $1, so of course I had to have it. It's by recollections. It was a little bland so I added some embossing ink all over it and sprinkled on some fine glitter and a few clear gem stone bling jewels here and there.  Used Bazzill red and cream colored card stock.  And layered the red on the cream card base I made.  Used my go to adhesive Xyron Tape runner, to add the red to the cream base. Then used Zots glue dots to add the die cut on top of the red paper.  I also added gems stones to the corners of the card front.  On the inside I layered more red then cream paper. I printed my sentiment on the cream before adding it to the red.  I am really liking the outcome, just hope hubby like it too.....(blushing)  so here it is:

Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy

Morning all and Happy Thursday.   Sorry I haven't posted in the pasted days.... Been helping out  a friend who runs a house cleaning biz who is short handed and going on vacation for a few weeks and asked me to step in while she is gone.  Needless to say I've been getting dirty cleaning rather than crafting, LOL......  But I did get time yesterday afternoon to make 2 cards for Birthdays and that I plan to enter in a few Challenges.  But unfortunately you'll have to wait til later today to see them, gotta go clean some houses!!  But do check back later today to see what I have come up with.  

Oh and we have another new follower, YAY!  Only 7 more needed until  the blog candy can find a new home with one of my lovely followers!

Blogs, Cards, Challenges Oh My..........

Hey there everyone.  Happy Saturday!  It's a rainy one here in Texas.  I am planning to work on some cards here in a bit hopefully....  But I have a question for all of you crafty peeps, do any of you ever get a little over whelmed with all the challenges, swaps, ect... out here on the web?  I really want to get to where one project can be appropriate for more than just one challenge ect.  So how do all you long time crafter's handle this?   I would love hear from you on this subject.  

And now for a little SURPRISE, I am planning on giving some blog candy away when I hit 25 followers.  So I am hoping you'll pass the word and get your other crafty friends to come visit me and if they are so inclined become a follower.
