So I liked the shades of green swap so much that I am in that I just have to create another card with green. Maybe you figured out by now, but green is my favorite color lol! Anyways, I went thru a bunch of albums of dies that my mom had and found this die for a funky folded card and thought hmmmm this could work. So I used it. It’s a crafters companion old die and it is a little bit of work to get it all die cut and all the lil bits popped out... but I am kinda liking it actually. I used couple shades of green scrap card and printed the sentiment on my printer. All in all I like it. Hoping you do too, it’s going to a swap friend who never rec’d the swap card I sent out last month, I think the mail carrier lost it! I am also entering this card in the following challenges listed below. Thanks for popping by and wish me luck with the challenges.....

Hello everyone.... I am sharing a card I made to enter in color challenge over at Make the Cards Challenge Blog. This one was a little tough on me as the colors just weren’t working for me, but I did finally come up with something passable. I used scraps of mirror paper, crafters companion tiny sunflower and leaf stamps and the long die scrolls looking die is from spellbinder as is the happy Easter tag. I snipped off one end of the tag to make it look like an egg on a stand.... well there you have. And here’s the card. Oh the colors were a pinkish reddish color, bluish color and a kind of mustard yellow, at least that’s what I saw on my computer screen. I hope I got it right, lol........ enjoy your day and thanks for popping by again.
Until next time,

Ok so to all of you up north, you can keep all this cold crappy, snowy, icy, wintery stuff! It’s freezing cold literally. We have been very lucky that we still have power! Please keep us all here in Texas in your thoughts and prayers. We have fire wood and food so I am sure it will be fine! And it’s not gonna last forever only a few days. Anyway enough of this weather stuff!
Today mom and I made cards. She made some Easter cards and I made a card for a March swap I am in. The theme is Shades of green. I am pretty darn happy with what I came up with. I used an outline sticker, with double sided tape and micro fine glitter. Colored it in with spectrum markers. Attached image to a spellbinder die. Glued two different papers to my base card and then added a strip of a different color of green. Added foam tape to back of die cut and centered on top. Added some black bling and cut out some small shamrocks from patterned paper. And added with glue dots. At the last minute I decided to add some green shimmery dots to the top and bottom of die cut. I hope y’all like this one as much as I do.

Hi everyone! Happy Monday......so I have some fun news. I made a card for a challenge last week over at Make the cards challenge . They are a new challenge blog and this was there second challenge. I had to create a card using grey and several shades of purple. Which I did and guess what I actually was chosen to be a feature card creator and show of one of my cards with their design team this week. How cool is that! The challenge this week is to create a card using circles. I used spellbinder circle dies to make an easel card base. Then added a small stamped flower around the card front for a border then added a Anna Griffin doily dies with another spellbinder die for the flowers and vine. So without any further chit chat here is my feature creator card. Also it would be great to see some of your creations so pop over to the blog and join in the fun....https://makethecardschallenge.com/make-the-cards-challenge-3/

Hi everyone, hope y’all are comfy and warm because here in central TX we’re having some unusual wintery weather! It’s 28 degrees and tons of ice in trees and on porches, rails and steps and more. I am truly not a fan, lol! So I actually found a a little time to make a challenge card for the Make the cards challenge blog. The challenge this week is to make a congratulations card. I had a vision but it did not quiet come out as I saw it in my head. That happens sometimes though but it is still a nice card in my humble opinion. If your up for a challenge stop by the blog Here.
So here is what I came up with for this fun challenge...
Well I hope where ever you are that your warm, safe and healthy. Again thanks for popping in and browsing. Leave me some blog love if your so inclined as I love to see what you have to say and I do read them all!

Good evening all! Hope everyone is having a great Saturday night! I made a few sympathy cards for a sweet friend who asked me to make her a few to have on hand. And then I realized that I had missed a Valentine for another friend so I went to work at the craft table...... I used distress oxide ink and stencils to make the sympathy cards and the stamps are from a card making magazine that mom bought quite a while ago! The Valentine well I cheated I used and image that I saw online and printed it. Then embossed a red card base with hearts and attached the printed images with foam tape. And there you have it, 3 quick cards......

Well I was looking thru my past makes and I saw a few that when I made them I just plain forgot to post. So I thought better later than never right? Sooo theses are called Z fold cards, which I had not made in years! There are two birthday cards for 2 very dear friends and 1 for some of my friends Anniversary. The Anniversary card was done with some layering stencils. The orange green birthday card was done with flower stamps and dies from Heartfelt Creations. The second birthday card was done with premade flowers from hobby lobby I believe. And the hearts I had in my stash and have no idea where I ever got them, lol. I hope you enjoy them all.........
Until next time,
